Nets Hold Off Hawks to Stop Losing Streak at 4

The Nets lost a 9 point 4th quarter lead, but they were able to recover and outlast the Hawks Monday afternoon in Atlanta. After Obinna Ekezie tied the game at 78 with 1:33 to play, Vince Carter responded with a basket, and the Nets got 2 key stops on the other end allowing them to seal the game with free throws by Jason Collins and Jason Kidd. Kidd and Carter led all scorers with 23 points each, and the Nets got another solid performance from Nenad Krstic, who finished with 12 points, 9 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocks. The Nets swept the season series with the Hawks for the first time ever, and won for the first time in their last 6 road games.
