Game 35 - Nets @ Rockets - Thursday, January 13, 8:00 PM

The Nets hit the road again, traveling to Houston to take on the Rockets, who have won 5 of their last 7 games to climb above .500 and into playoff position. Houston is one of the top defensive teams in the league, and put the clamps on the Nets the last time these two teams played. Since then, they have traded for guards Jon Barry and David Wesley. The Nets have dropped 4 of their last 5 games, including 3 straight on the road. With Richard Jefferson gone for the season, and Brian Scalabrine out until next week, New Jersey will once again be short on bodies. They will need to match Houston's defensive intensity and will need solid production from their bench. Jason Kidd is starting to look like his old self, averaging 15.8 points, 8.6 rebounds and 7.4 assists in his last 5 games.
