Short-handed Nets Fall to Pistons

With Richard Jefferson gone for the season, and Brian Scalabrine still out with an injured hamstring, the Nets used a 7-man rotation against the Pistons Tuesday night at the Meadowlands. It wasn't enough as Detroit held New Jersey to just 37% shooting and cruised to a 9 point victory. Vince Carter led the Nets with 19 points, and Travis Best came off the bench for 16, but the Nets never got the Detroit lead to less than 7 points in the 4th quarter.
