With Jason Kidd likely to start the season on the Injured List, the Nets will work out Travis Best for some more depth at point guard. They have also discussed former Bull, Marcus Fizer, to fill the hole at power forward, but would wait for Fizer to recover from a knee injury before making that move. Additionally, the Nets may be close to presenting Lawrence Frank with a two-year extension. His current contract is just for one year.
