With Jason Kidd possibly out for more than a month, and possibly requesting a trade, the Nets are shopping around for point guards, and may be willing to use one of the trade exceptions they received in this summer's Kenyon Martin and Kerry Kittles deals. They have worked out free-agent Travis Best, and have also considered trades for Speedy Claxton, Marcus Banks, Darrell Armstrong and Dejuan Wagner.
