Brian Dyke, Kenyon Martin's agent, says K-Mart has two max offers, from Atlanta and Denver, and that it is unlikely that the Nets will match. Martin can not sign anything until Wednesday, and once he does, the Nets would have 14 days to decide whether or not to match it. The Nets are also reportedly talking about sign-and-trade deals with both Atlanta and Denver.
