The Nets shot a scorching 42-70 (60%) from the field and blew out the Knicks at the Meadowlands. Lucious Harris went 11-13 for a game-high 24 points and Richard Jefferson continued his all-around great play with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. The bench made its best contribution since Jason Kidd and Kenyon Martin went down, with Aaron Williams and Zoran Planinic combining for 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. With the win, and the Heat loss in Detroit, the Nets clinched their third straight Atlantic Division crown, and the second seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs.
