With Jason Kidd back at full speed, the Nets fast break flourished, and they smoked the Knicks at Continental Airlines Arena Saturday. The Knicks were within 4 at the end of the first half, but a Brian Scalabrine 3-pointer at the buzzer put the Nets' lead at 7. New Jersey then held the Knicks scoreless for the first 6:20 of the 2nd half, increasing the lead to 16, and never looking back the rest of the way. Richard Jefferson led all scorers with 21 points, and Kidd and Kenyon Martin each recorded double-doubles for the Nets. Stephon Marbury was held scoreless in the second half and 14 points and 2 assists overall.
