The Nets didn't have much going offensively all game, committing 24 turnovers, but they were able to put enough baskets together down the stretch to pull out the win over the Wizards. Washington led by 8 with 4 minutes remaining and by 3 with 40 seconds to go when Kerry Kittles hit a 3-pointer from the corner to tie the game. Richard Jefferson couldn't convert at the end of regulation, but the Nets took the lead early in overtime, and never let it go. Kenyon Martin played 12 minutes in the first half, but took himself out at halftime when he felt soreness in his injured knee.
