The Nets came out on fire against the Kings, going on a 23-4 run to finish the 1st quarter, and then used tight defense and the fast break to blow out the best team in the West. Kerry Kittles led the way with 24 points and Rodney Rogers came off the bench to shoot 8 for 11, including 4 for 6 from 3 pt. range, for 20 points. Richard Jefferson fell one point short of his 7th straight 20 point game, but he put the clamps on Peja Stojakovic, holding the All-Star to just 11 points on 4-10 shooting. The Kings lost just their 4th game against the East this season, all on the road. The Nets are now 19-5 under Lawrence Frank.
