Nets Hold On to Beat Bulls

The Nets stormed to a 24-4 lead in the first quarter, lost the lead late in the third, went on a 12-4 run, and then held on for the win over Chicago in the Meadowlands. Kenyon Martin sat out the second half with a sprained ankle. Jason Kidd tied Larry Bird for 4th all-time with 59 career triple-doubles, Richard Jefferson led all scorers with 27 points, and Brian Scalabrine provided a big lift off the bench with 11 points and 8 rebounds.
