The Denver Nuggets came back from a 14 point 4th quarter deficit, and had a chance to tie the game with less than a minute left, but the Nets held on to win in New Jersey. The Nets shot 57% for the game, including a blistering 21-33 in the first half. Kenyon Martin and Richard Jefferson led the way with 28 and 26 points respectively. Jason Kidd returned from his knee injury to score 8 points and dish out 13 assists. New Jersey got solid contributions off the bench from Aaron Williams and Brian Scalabrine, who shot a combined 9 for 13.
