Vince Carter makes his Nets debut as New Jersey travels to Auburn Hills to take on the Pistons. New Jersey will almost have 12 healthy bodies with Travis Best back from a groin injury and the addition of Carter, but Brian Scalabrine will likely miss the game with a strained hamstring. The defending World Champions have hovered around the .500 mark all season and have lost 3 of their last 4 home games. Their deep front line should be a tough challenge for a Nets front line that was already thin before Scalabrine got hurt. These two are both among the top defensive teams in the league, so this could be a typical Nets/Pistons defensive struggle.
