Krstic Breaks Out, Jefferson Closes Door on Bobcats

Nenad Krstic got his first career start on Tuesday in Charlotte, and he responded with 13 points, 12 rebounds and 3 blocks in 28 minutes before being ejected in the 3rd quarter for elbowing Gerald Wallace. Down to just 8 bodies after that, the Nets needed Richard Jefferson to step up, and he delivered with 25 of his 28 points in the 2nd half. Rodney Buford scored 16 points on 6 of 8 shooting, and Jason Kidd had a season-high 12 assists in 30 minutes. The Nets snapped the Bobcats' 5 game winning streak at home, as well as their own 3 game losing streak.
