In the wake of their blockbuster trade, the Nets and Raptors meet at the Air Canada Center Sunday afternoon. Vince Carter is on the injured list with a strained left Achilles' tendon, Eric Williams and Aaron Williams are not expected to play, and Alonzo Mourning is not even coming to Toronto. The Nets hope to have Travis Best back in action, but even if he can play, they still only have 9 active players. Fortunately, Jason Kidd's maximum minutes seem to have been increased, as he played 32 in Memphis Friday night. The Nets will continue to rely on Richard Jefferson for a lot of their scoring until Carter is healthy. Toronto has lost 8 of their last 9 games and is a half game behind the Nets in the Atlantic Division. Both teams may be making more moves soon, with the Raptors looking to get rid of Jalen Rose, and the Nets needing big men.
