The Nets went more than 15 minutes without a field goal in the second half, allowing the Knicks to go on a 21-5 run and take a 12 point lead and control of Tuesday night's game at the Meadowlands. New York, led by Jamal Crawford's 30 points, held on to win for the just the 3rd time in their last 19 meetings with the Nets. Richard Jefferson led the Nets with 22 points and 6 assists, while grabbing 10 rebounds. Jason Kidd shot the ball well in his 21 minutes, but the Nets' starting big men, Brian Scalabrine and Jason Collins, shot 4 of 23 from the field. Travis Best left the game in the second quarter with a strained groin.
