The Nets suffered two painful injuries and one ugly loss Wednesday night in Washington. Zoran Planinic broke his left hand, Nenad Krstic suffered a knee injury, and the Nets could get nothing done offensively as they fell to the Wizards by 27. Richard Jefferson did not have any field goals and finished with just 7 points, as the Nets shot just 31% from the field. They were able to the foul line 45 times, but shot just 60% from the stripe. Planinic suffered a broken hand in the 2nd quarter, and could miss 6 to 8 weeks. Krstic was hurt in the final minutes, but may not miss more than a game or two.
