The Nets will try to recover from Saturday's blowout loss to the Suns as they host the Blazers at Continental Airlines Arena Tuesday night. For the Nets, guards Ron Mercer, Rodney Buford and Travis Best are all questionable with injuries. That could mean a lot of playing time for Zoran Planinic, and possibly extended minutes of Richard Jefferson at the shooting guard spot. The Nets' weak spot is Portland's strong one. The Blazers have two quality power forwards and have been using Shareef Abdur-Rahim at the small forward spot. The forward combination of Abdur-Rahim and Zach Randolph are averaging 38.7 points and 19.0 rebounds per game combined.
