The Nets couldn't match up with the Phoenix Suns Saturday night, losing by 32 at the Meadowlands. Possibly suffering from a hangover from Friday night's double overtime win in Chicago, the Nets defense left a lot to be desired. Phoenix shot 57% from the field, including 7 of 14 from downtown. Richard Jefferson tried to carry the team on his back, but did not have enough of a supporting cast to keep the Nets in the game. New Jersey plays Portland next, at home Tuesday night.
