The Nets needed a Richard Jefferson jumper at the end of regulation to keep them from blowing a 27 point lead, and then came out on top after two overtimes to get their first win of the season. Jefferson finished with 26 points, a career-high 21 rebounds and 9 assists, but also committed 11 turnovers. The Nets committed 30 turnovers in all, but shot over 50% from the field and connected on their first 24 free throws of the game.
