The Nets dropped their 8th straight game Friday night in Seattle. The offense struggled in the first quarter, hitting just 2 of 13 shots, and committing 5 turnovers. Trailing by 21 at the half, they made a 20-5 run to start the 3rd quarter, but the Sonics opened the lead back up to 12 after 3, and cruised the rest of the way. Danny Fortson had a big game off the bench with 20 points and 8 rebounds in just 22 minutes. Richard Jefferson led all scorers with 21.
