Nets Lose Another at Home

The Nets fell to 1-4 at Continental Airlines Arena this season thanks to an 11 point loss to the Houston Rockets. New Jersey started the game off on an 11-0 run, but then Houston blew them away with a 30-6 run, and never led by less than 10 points the rest of the way. Houston's defense, anchored by Yao Ming and Dikembe Mutombo, held the Nets to just 31% shooting. Jim Jackson led all scorers with 18 points, and Richard Jefferson led the Nets with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Brian Scalabrine came off the bench to grab 11 boards of his own.
