The Nets released Darius Rice and Damone Brown Wednesday, cutting down their roster to 16. Rice had played in all 6 preseason games thus far, averaging 9.3 minutes per game, but shooting just 26% from the field. Brown had played just 23 total minutes in 4 games. It would seem the final roster spot could come down to Awvee Storey and Kyle Davis, who has yet to play because of a knee injury.
