Richard Jefferson was given the day off, and the Nets lost to the Sixers by 5 in a preseason game in Philadelphia Saturday. Zoran Planinic led the Nets with 13 points and 7 assists. Jacque Vaughn sat out with a sore groin, and Aaron Williams sprained his left foot. The Nets continue their preseason schedule Tuesday, when they host the Knicks at the Meadowlands.
