Murphy Won't Return to the Team

During halftime of the Nets-Cavaliers game, Billy King told WFAN's Seth Everett that he thought Troy Murphy could return to the team soon. He said he would talk with Murphy and his agent, the powerful Dan Fegan, about coming back. Apparently, he didn't talk to Avery Johnson.

The Ball Boy Who Lectured T-Will

ESPN has tracked down and interviewed the 13-year-old Springfield Armor ballboy who told Terrence Williams he shouldn't get down on himself after being demoted. Instead, Carlos Gonzalez Jr. told Williams "You need to learn from it." T-Will said the ball boy's advice and his mother's tears helped him deal with his situation.

T-Will Sent to Springfield Armor; Says He'll "Accept Challenge"

The Nets have announced that Terrence Williams has been sent to the Springfield Armor. The decision comes two games after the 6'6" guard-forward was declared inactive for two games following "repeated violations of team policy".
