The season ends where it began

Bookends. The Nets started the season with a loss, one viewed back then as an aberration. Now, the Nets would like to end the season with a win, but as Jason Kidd keeps saying, it's about getting everyone healthy and rested so who knows.

Brooklyn wraps up the home schedule vs the Knicks

For the Knicks, this game means nothing other than bragging rights to the city ... but even if they win, the value of that won't last the weekend. They'll be packing up. For the Nets, a win wraps up the fifth seed and a trip (most likely) to Chicago.

The Hawks come to Brooklyn

The Nets have not lost in Brooklyn in more than two months ... 15 games, but Jason Kidd has hinted more players will get some rest Friday. For the Hawks, this is a must-win. A Hawk win and Knick loss would clinch a playoff spot.

Nets look to keep the winning streak going

The Nets have won three straight, four of their last five, six of their last seven. Their biggest challenge Wednesday vs. Orlando could be a letdown from the big win in Miami. We'll take it.

Nets go for season sweep of Heat

The Nets beat the Heat twice in preseason and three times in the regular season. It's something the Nets and Heat are well aware of. For Miami, the game may be more important than for Brooklyn. The Heat are fighting for the East's top seed.

Brooklyn opens a road trip in Philly ... with KG?

In an oddity, the 76ers have done well against the Nets this season, despite their historic ineptitude. They actually beat the Nets back in December and hung with them in one of their two losses. The game could see Kevin Garnett's return.

Brooklyn tries to bounce back against Detroit

The Nets would like everyone to forget what happened at MSGn. The Piston would like everyone to forget this season. After an active off-season, the Pistons have disappointed on the court. But they're still a young, athletic squad that can surprise.

Knicks & Nets meet for a critical game at MSG

The Nets go for four in a now ... and 15th straight wins inside New York City limits ... Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden. As the Nets fight for the Atlantic Division lead, the Knicks are fighting for their playoff lives.

The Nets try to make history against Houston

The Nets haven't lost at home since the end of January, when the Thunder beat them. Now, at April dawns, the Nets are looking to win their fourteenth straight vs the Dwight Howard-less Rockets. It's also a chance to gain ground in the playoff race.

Nets look to push home winning streak to 13

The Timberwolves are fresh off a monster win over the Lakers Friday night scoring 143 points. The Nets haven't allowed an opponent to score 100 points in their last 11 home wins. The Nets have more to play for. They're in the playoffs. T-Wolves not.
