Mikhail Prokhorov has moved up seven spots on the Forbes list of the world's richest to #32. Forbes puts Prokhorov's wealth at $18 billion. Russia's Finans Magazine has put it somewhat higher, at $22.7 billion. Prokhorov is now worth $5 billion more than Trail Blazers' Paul Allen. A year ago, Allen was worth $100 million more than Prokhorov, according to Forbes. Prokhorov is the second richest owner in sports, behind Mukesh Ambani, the proprietor of the Mumbai Indians of the Indian Premier Cricket League.
