On CBS This Morning, Charlie Rose asked Mikhail Prokhorov about his promise to get married if the Nets don't win a championship by 2015, the Nets owner smiled and said, "it was a joke." Does that mean his five year plan is also a joke. No.

YES Posts New Video of Prokhorov Visit

YES has posted an updated video of Mikhail Prokhorov's tour of Barclays Center and his meeting with fans Tuesday. In the new version, Bruce Ratner serves as tour guide and shows off some features of the arena. Among them: the Nets practice facility set between the Courtside Club and a Starbucks.

Mark Cuban draws on WWE history

"Let the best man win," Prokhorov said, joking about his competition with Cuban to sign Williams. "If he wins, I will crush him in a kickboxing throwdown." The 6-foot-9 Prokhorov has a significant reach advantage over Cuban, but it wouldn't be Cuban's first brawl with a much bigger foe. "He obviously didn't see me be the first in WWE history to put Sheamus on the mat," Cuban replied Wednesday night via email, referring to his guest host appearance on "Monday Night Raw" in 2009. "He knows not what he gets himself into."

They've lost seven in a row, Mikhail Prokhorov's NBA team, but they're still helping his bottom line. How else to explain why the unveiling of his new line of Russian hybrid cars, called the "Yo", got so much attention. Each story in the US press --including those carried on ESPN and NBA.com-- mentioned he's the Nets owner.
