Marv and Ian's sidekick was in Moscow, on his way to Kiev to coach the Ukraine National Team, when he dropped by to celebrate Sergei Kushchenko's 50th birthday party and meet Mikhail Prokhorov.
That's my question! Originally it said "Dear Ian and Mike," but they edited out Ian because Marv was calling the game. So then Marv took issue with being left out, hehe. They also left out my last name because I guess they don't use people's last names.
A European basketball site reports that the Ukraine Basketball Federation is negotiating with Nets' broadcaster Mike Fratello to become a coach for Team Ukraine. Fratello is talking with Alexander Volkov, the head of the federation and a former Atlanta Hawks player who Fratello coached in 1989-90.
