King continues re-make of Nets

Frank Zanin, who rose from an intern to assistant coach under Billy King in Philadelphia, then followed him to the Nets, has been named an assistant general manager, King has announced. He'll work closely with King and Bobby Marks, who's also AGM.

Final payments due Thursday on D-Will, JJ

In the half hour before the Nets pick at #22 Thursday night, the final payments for the Deron Williams and Joe Johnson trades come due. Two picks traded in those deals will finally be exercised, one five years after the Nets first acquired it.
