Armor start process of restocking roster

D-League executives, including the Nets' Milton Lee, were on hand at Basketball City in Lower Manhattan Saturday, looking at 200 prospects who had paid $300 each to show their wares. It's the first step in the D-League re-stocking process.

Kris Joseph earns All-D-League honors

Kris Joseph hasn't donned a Nets uniform yet in the playoffs, but he did get some notice this weeks. On Friday, the 6'7" Syracuse product was named to the second team all-D-League and first team All-Rookie.

Kris Joseph, Montreal native, tweeted everyone in Springfield "bonne soir, mes amis" just before the Armor tipped off Monday afternoon. His farewell is the closest thing to a confirmation that he'll next show up in a Nets practice jersey.

Armor Coach: Joseph Can Be "Very Good' in NBA

In an interview just before the Armor went on a season-ending road trip, coach Bob MacKinnon said he thinks Kris Joseph has the "potential down the road to be a very good NBA player." Joseph was drafted, then cut by the Celtics.

Nets calling up Kris Joseph

The Nets have apparently called up 6'7" SF Kris Joseph from Springfield, filling the 15th spot open since Josh Childress was waived in December. The call-up was tweeted out by Springfield teammate Willie Reed who the Nets had also considered.

Reed buzzer beater wins final home game for Armor

Willie Reed didn't have a typical Willie Reed game on Wednesday or at least as typical as his recent play. He scored 13 points on 6-of-11 shooting, grabbed only five boards and didn't block a shot ... but he did win the game.

The Nets have recalled Toko Shengelia and Tyshawn Taylor from the D-League. The players will join the team on Thursday.

Toko goes for 23 but Armor Loses

Jeff Taylor, a 6'5" shooting guard, scored a D-League season high 49 points Saturday night as his Maine Red Claws held off a late charge by the Springfield Armor to win, 115-108. Taylor shot 20-of-30 from the floor. Toko Shengelia finished with 23

Last week, the Armor's Willie Reed was the D-League performer of the week. This week, it looks like Tyshawn Taylor. In the two games since he's been back on the farm in Springfield, Taylor has averaged 27.5 points, 7.0 assists and 3.0 steals.

DoJo, Toko, Tyshawn combine for 80 in Loss

Dominique Jones, the 6'4" shooting guard signed by the Armor on Monday, scored 28 points on 13 shots, hitting nine. Toko Shengelia and Tyshawn Taylor finished with 27 and 25 respectively but the Armor lost in overtime to Austin.

Audition time for Springfield Armor players

When the Nets return from their road trip, the timing should be right for them to add a player to the roster. By calling up someone within the last 10 days of the season, the Nets can sign them for the remainder of this season and next season.

With a full set of offensive and defensive skills on display, Tyshawn Taylor brought the Armor back late in a tight game, stealing, dunking, pressuring and hitting the long ball. Taylor finished with 30 points, five rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals.

The Nets flew to Detroit Sunday night to kick off their eight-game road trip, but two seats on the team's 737 were empty. Toko Shengelia and Tyshawn Taylor have been assigned to the Springfield Armor while the Nets are on the road, likely six games.

In Armor Win, Reed Goes for 21 and 20

In a blowout win over the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, Willie Reed finished with 21 points, 20 rebounds and a block. Over the past three games, the 6'10" Reed is averaging 20 points, 17.3 rebounds, 3.3 blocks and shooting 69.2 percent.

According to a league insider, former Mavs guard Dominique Jones has signed with the Springfield Armor, the Brooklyn Nets D-League affiliate.

Taylor, Shengelia Re-Assigned to D-League

The Nets have once again assigned Tyshawn Taylor and Tornike Shengelia to the NBA D-League. This will be the fourth stop for Toko and third for Taylor.

Willie Reed Stars in Armor Win

Willie Reed, the Armor's 6'10" center, got a rare start Thursday and came through with a monster game as Springfield won its fourth straight home at home, beating the Texas Legends, in overtime. Reed finished with 20, 15 and 5.
