Teletovic Named Best Male Athlete in Bosnia

Mirza Teletovic led the Bosnian national team to a berth in the FIBA Eurobasket tournament this summer ... and was signed by the Nets. Now, the 27-year-old has been named Bosnia's Sportsman of the Year for 2012. He accepted the award two weeks ago.

Nets Promote "Random Acts of Kindness" in Brooklyn

In an effort to promote the team and the idea the one act of kindness will lead to others, Brook Lopez, MarShon Brooks and Tyshawn Taylor showed up at a Coney Island gas station earlier this week to fill free tanks of gas for Brooklyn residents.

D-Will receives Community Assist award

On Tuesday, the NBA recognized Deron Williams for the for work he does in the community and with his Point of Hope Foundation, honoring him with the Kia Community Assist award for November.
