Nets go monochromatic on Christmas

The NBA revealed special monochromatic uniforms for its Christmas Day slate of games. The Nets will host the Celtics at noon ET, wearing jerseys that are almost all black.

Finally, the new superhero mascot ... and anthem!

The Nets will roll out both a new "super hero" mascot AND a team anthem Saturday as part of Opening Night. reports indicate he will be a Knight, possibly named "Brooklyn Knight" or "Brooklynite." The anthem is called "Brooklyn: Something To Lean On."
