Four of the Nets, earning between $500,000 and $20 million joined forces with a Bed-Stuy fitness center Thursday to help teach kids the value of fitness. Joe Johnson, Mirza Teletovic, Toko Shengelia and Josh Childress participated in the event.
The Nets had their annual Christmas community event Monday, taking 75 kids displaced by Hurricane Sandy on a Christmas shopping spree at Cookies, the Kids Department Store, in Downtown Brooklyn. Each child was given a $250 credit from AMEX.
On Monday, the Nets welcomed 5,000 season ticket holders to the new Barclays Center. Fans were allowed to roam the building, see the view from their seats, and check out the new digs. NetsDaily's own eLonePB was there and took plenty of photos.
