Crime at Barclays Center? Not really, say police

Early on, one of the big fears about Barclays Center, along with traffic and community disruption, was an increase in crime around the arena. Well, so far, the biggest problem, say police, was a rowdy crowd at a Justin Bieber concert. No really.

The wonders of technology at Barclays Center! The Nets and the arena have introduced new apps that permit the denizens of the upper bowl to order food for pick-up without waiting on line. You can message the scoreboard as well! Music too!

Barclays Center Welcomes 1,000,000th Fan

Friday night’s game marked the 86th ticketed event at Barclays Center, which opened 126 days ago on September 28. It also marked the arrival of the 1,000,000th fan at the arena, about half of them Nes fans, the rest at concerts and family shows, etc.

Brook Appreciates All the Appreciation

They came with posters and a giant Brook Lopez head, letters that spelled out "ALL STAR" and a LOT of enthusiasm. The NetsDaily "Loud and Proud" sections, sponsored by GothamGooner, did their best to show Lopez he deserves to be an All-Star.

Stackhouse, Fans in Twitter War
