I don’t even see why the Nets want to deal with the Bobcats in the first place. Do the Nets really want a shooter THAT badly? I mean Carroll’s contract is huge (18 million for 4 years if I remember correctly) and in order for us to get him the Cats would need to take back Swift or Hassell for the salaries to even match. Unless the Bobcats are willing to offer Gerald Wallace and Carroll for Boone, Williams, Swift, and Hassell, the salaries will not match. Plus I don’t even think I would take the deal if I were the Nets if a pick or two wasn’t included. It just seems like a complicated situation for me and I don’t see any trade happening between these two teams.
