Update: Brook Lopez will NOT play vs. 76ers

Brook Lopez says that he expects to play tonight against the Philadelphia 76ers. Lopez injured his ankle on Thursday night against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Nets and Sixers open big week for Brooklyn

The (relatively) healthy Nets have somewhat of an easy week starting Monday vs. Philly. Over the next seven days, they play only three games, two at home and the other a bus ride away. Between now and December 27, they don't get an airplane.

Bogdanovic non-committal about future

Bojan Bogdanovic set the tone early in an interview with Fenerbahce TV when asked about his future. "Now, i just concentrate on my team," he said. When asked about his plans beyond this season, the Nets pick was careful not to upset anyone.

Without point guard, Armor continue to lose

The Nets and Armor had big hopes for Lorenzo Brown, a 6'5" point guard dumped by the T-Wolves in training camp, then traded to Springfield. Before he could play in the D-League, the 76ers called him up and with no PG, the Armor continue to lose.

Is Kirilenko hinting of a Christmas return?

On Saturday, there was a glimmer of hope. Andrei Kirilenko appeared on the Nets practice court in East Rutherford, announcing it with a picture on Instagram. The caption, in both English and Russian, said simply, "starting on the court ... finally."
