Yormark: Coach won't affect marketing

In an interview early Thursday morning, Brett Yormark told ESPN's Jared Max that the Nets off-season marketing won't be much affected by whomever Billy King selects as coach. "We don't sell players or coaches."

Brooklyn Nets "biggest turnaound" in NBA

Abraham Madkour, executive editor of Sports Business Journal, is out with the magazine's annual NBA Season Honors. The Nets were cited as the league's "biggest turnaround." Citing team insiders, SBJ says gate receipts jumped 250 percent.

The Islanders are in the playoffs this season for the first time in six years (sound familiar?). They're moving to Brooklyn (sound familiar?) And Brett Yormark will be handling their marketing! (really familiar!) There will be more.

"Brooklyn Blackout" plans unveiled

The Nets and "The Feeling of Now"

Nets Have Ally in ASG Fight: Big Union

The Communications Workers of America is locked in a ugly dispute with James Dolan, Cablevision and now Madison Square Garden and they aim to hit him where it hurts ... in Brooklyn. The CWA is pushing Barclays Center in "union-busting" campaign.

Chris Charlier, the Nets CEO, told the New York-based France-Amérique, that the move to Brooklyn has "increased by ten times the marketing potential of the team" adding "If we sell the franchise today, we would have a huge increase in re-sale value."

Brooklyn Nets "sport" high fashion

We don't think Nets fashion would be featured on the "Style and Travel" page of the Wall Street Journal if they were still at IZOD Center, despite that arena's fashion connection. But now that they are in Brooklyn (New York), they are.
