Nets recall Toko Shengelia from Springfield

He's up, he's down and now he's back up again. The Nets have recalled Toko Shengelia from the D-League. He will rejoin the club in Toronto for Saturday's game vs. the Raptors and presumably fly on to London for the Global Games.

Johnson-Odom sets Armor scoring record in loss

Darius Johnson-Odom, the ex-Laker who joined the Springfield Armor last week, scored 41 points Thursday, including 20 in the fourth quarter, setting a new one-game scoring mark for the Nets D-League affiliate. But the Armor lost, 143-132.

Armor embarrassed at D-League Showcase

It wasn't supposed to be like this. With a veteran club and a number of players who've worn an NBA uniform, the Armor were supposed to be a good team. But again, Wednesday night, they proved they are a bad team, a very bad team, losing by 42 to Reno.

The Brooklyn Nets have sent Tornike Shengelia and Tyshawn Taylor down to the D-League to join the Springfield Armor.

Reed, Johnson-Odom lead Armor to win

Willie Reed scored 17 points and grabbed 16 rebounds as the Armor defeated the Maine Red Claws in Portland, 98-90. The newest Armor player, Darius Johnson-Odom, playing the point, scored 20 points, grabbed nine rebounds and handed out four assists.

Going into Friday's game, the Armor was 3-10, the Tulsa 66ers 2-13. Springfield was playing at home and had acquired Darius Johnson-Odom, the former Laker, in 5h3 hours before the game. All good. Then, the Armor got blown out.

Armor win going away as three prospects play well

Dennis Horner, Adonis Thomas and Willie Reed played well again vs. the Delaware 87ers Saturday but this time instead of losing a heartbreaker, they led the Armor to a 87-76 victory in Wilmington. The 87ers won Friday, 92-91 in the last seconds.
