Game Previews

The Nets and Pacers meet on Super Bowl Eve

After getting blown out by the best team in the West --and setting an NBA record for rebounding futility-- the Nets face the best team in the East in the second half of a back-to-back in Indianapolis, home of the Pacers.

Brooklyn goes for sixth straight win

The opponent Monday night will be the first place Toronto Raptors. The Raptors had won two straight but lost to the Clippers at home on Saturday night. More importantly for the Raptors, DeMar DeRozan had to leave the game and won't be available.

Paul Pierce & Kevin Garnett return to Boston

Homecomings are always fun, especially when your team is playing well. This one, of course, is more than that. it;s the return of two Hall of Famers to a city where they won one NBA championship and almost won another.

Dallas comes to visit Brooklyn

The Mavs will arrive Friday at Barclays, fighting for a Western Conference playoff berth. Dirk Nowitzki will lead them in, but for long time Nets fans, it will be like old times with Vincent Lamar Carter and Devin Lamar Harris in the backcourt.

Back at Barclays and looking for more payback

The Nets are back at Barclays Center Tuesday, after visiting Canada, Great Britain and a nearby island whose residents they taught how to chant. Just as a blowout loss to the Knicks drove the Nets to want payback, the same can be said of the Magic.

Avery talks Nets-Knicks, Nets and Knicks

In an interview with Stefan Bondy, Avery Johnson talks about the Nets-Knicks rivalry and the two teams, noting how important the rivalry is to the Nets, how he predicted a January 15 turnaround for the Nets and how Jason Kidd is adjusting.

Nets visit MSG on MLK Day

Back in the States, the Nets try to keep the good times going as well as avenge their 30 point loss to the Knicks. It's the beginning of a busy --and emotional-- week, with games vs. New York, Orlando, Dallas and Boston.

Brooklyn & Atlanta go International

Finally the prelims and the marketing is over. Let the Global Games begin! The Nets and Hawks will play a real game Thursday afternoon at London's 02 arena. And with only a few games separating the two, the game has playoff implications.

BIG road trip begins in Toronto

The Nets flew to Toronto Saturday morning on the first leg of their international trip. They play the division-leading (!) Raptors on Saturday night, then leave Sunday for London where they play Atlanta. NO letdown as Brooklyn goes for six straight.

Nets try to beat the Heat for the second time

It's Friday night, the Nets are on a winning streak, and they face LeBron James and the Miami Heat on ESPN. Meanwhile, the Heat will be trying to avoid a losing streak, having fallen to the Knicks Thursday. No D-Wade for Miami, no D-WIll for Nets
