With 16 players under contract, the Nets can only invite four non-roster players to camp, and it looks like they’ve made their picks. Four swingmen are working out with the team–no bigs, no point guards, although Julius Hodge thinks he can play some point. The others: Desmon Farmer, the D-League’s No. 2 scorer (left); Dermarr Johnson, KMart’s college teammate; and Brian Hamilton, a top D-League defender.

I dump Ager in favor of DeMarr Johnson, easily the better player and he could be useful

I agree on dumping Ager, but we don’t need another swingman…we have Vince, Hayes, Simmons, CDR, Hassell, Dooling can play some two, and Najera and (probably) Anderson can play the three. We need a third string point, and I bet it’s going to be Hodge, hopefully he can actually play the position. We’ll see.

DeMarr has a great skillset and good athleticism, but we desperately need someone else to handle the rock. With The Blurs injury history and keyon doolings lack of passing ability we NEED hodge. We have left ourselves in this position and better make the move.

This team has so many SG/SF’s why have four in camp?
Farmer is the best player overall.
Hodge could play 3rd pg
Demarr is Jarvis Hayes
Trade must be coming.
I’m not sure why Hasell is on the roster.

Farmer is gone, Dermarr next?
