More rumors, more fun! This one comes from Dave McMenamin of ESPN who reports the Nets, along with several other teams, could be interested in restricted free agent shooting guard Dion Waiters.
Representatives for Dion Waiters fielded interest from Kings, Nets, Sixers, Bulls, Heat and OKC on Thursday, per a source

A New Jersey native, Waiters would be somewhat familiar with Brooklyn. People forget he's only 24 years old because he's bounced around from team to team in his short time in the league. He's shown ability to put the ball in the hoop averaging 13 points over the course of his five-year career. His basketball IQ, however, is not the highest ... to put it nicely.
His reputation went up in the OKC playoff run, having big games vs. Dallas, San Antonio and Golden State, showing off his ability to score in a variety of ways.
This question is: how much OKC is willing to spend on him with all their other commitments, starting with Kevin Durant? Looks as if he's lost in the shuffle and has become an opportunity for the Nets and other teams in need of a scoring guard. It fits the theme we've already discussed. The Nets gather as much cap space as possible to overpay young restricted free agents. It puts pressure on teams to match their offer.
Add him to the list of wings the Nets have supposedly been interested since 12 o'clock hit: Allen Crabbe, Tyler Johnson, Lance Thomas, Jared Dudley, and now, Waiters.
