Shane Larkin and his Hall of Fame baseball father Barry talked to YES recently about sports and how although they played two different sports, the role competitiveness played in both their careers.
Barry Larkin who still looks like he could suit up and shag some ground balls at shortstop talked about how he would bring his son to the games and spring training, just as he saw Ken Griffey do the same with his son, Ken Jr. Barry also notes that even though Shane eventually chose basketball, he believes his son could made a very good baseball player.
