Which Net is more likely to have a breakout season?

Last year we saw Mason Plumlee fill the empty void left by the injured Brook Lopez, and florished into one of the key cornerstones for our franchise. Plumlee has backup his rookie season with an impressive showing with Team USA, and will showcase his skills in Spain in a few days.

So who will be this years' Mason Plumlee?

My Candidates

Marquis Teague - After a strong showing in the summer league, Teague is trying to prove to the Nets organization that he can be a quality PG in this league. With Deron Williams' health always in question, there is a good possibility Teague will get an opportunity to prove that. Don't forget, he played his college days in Kentucky, and 2 years ago won a national championship with New Orleans Pelicans center Anthony Davis. History shows that Kentucky can produce some quality PG's (Rondo, Wall, Bledsoe, Knight), can Teague become another?

Markel Brown - Two weeks ago, Nets shooting guard Markel Brown suffered a broke right hand during a workout in Las Vagas. Even though the injury doesnt help the rookies off-season development, Brown should be an OK by the time the NBA season tips off. Brown's solid 4-year career at Oklahoma State was largely overshadowed by the emegence of former teammate and current Celtics PG Marcus Smart. So while Brown wasnt an household name as a Cowboy, he will be motivated to make a name for himself in a Brooklyn Nets jersey.
