Update: Deron Williams will play vs. Bobcats; Marcus Thornton remains a game-time decision

Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports

The Brooklyn Nets announced that Deron Williams, who missed Wednesday's shootaround because of an "illness," will be in the lineup as they face off against the Charlotte Bobcats.

Marcus Thornton, who hurt his back on Monday night against the Pelicans, is a game-time decision. So, we won't know until closer to the game whether or not he'll play, but it does sound unlikely at this point. We will update as we know more.

Also, Andrei Kirilenko (ankle) is out, as is Kevin Garnett (back spasms) who didn't travel with the team.

Brooklyn is 1.5 games behind the Toronto Raptors for first place in the Atlantic Division, and they are looking to get back on track after losing an overtime game in New Orleans on Monday.
