The Nets almost called up Darius Johnson-Odom from the Springfield Armor, but opted to call up Jorge Gutierrez, who played with the team in the preseason. Now, DJO may get signed to a 10-day contract by another team. The Philadelphia 76ers are hosting a workout Tuesday that will include Johnson-Odom.

Johnson-Odom had a successful career at Marquette and was drafted No. 55 overall by the Dallas Mavericks in 2012, who then traded him to the Los Angeles Lakers. Johnson was cut by the Lakers in January of 2013. A year later, he signed with the Armor and has been tearing it up. He has been averaging 22 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists as the team's lead point guard.
