It's the not the first time he's said, but Metta World Peace is trying a new tactic in the budding rivalry between the Nets and Knicks. He's pretending he doesn't know about. We expected so much more from the mercurial MWP.
"I don't have no energy to go back and forth with words because there's just too many great things happening in New York City," said World Peace, adding, ""Honestly, I don't even know who's on their team," World Peace said. "I'm not going to lie. I'm just happy to be a Knick."
Of course, later in the interview, he admitted that he knew enough about the Nets and other contenders to summarized the East. "I think all those teams are good, but I think the Knicks are going to be great," World Peace said.
