The Nets will debut an "Are You Ready?" campaign in English, Spanish and Russian that will include billboard, print, television, kiosks, digital and media advertisements focused throughout New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
"Our campaign, Are You Ready?, is patently more aggressive than last year," Brett Yormark told Adweek. "We came into the borough in a humble way. It was all about 'Hello Brooklyn.' Now we can take it up a notch. We are being a little bit more bold, a little bit more direct."
Yormark said that while last year's campaign was focused on Brooklyn as a 'lifestyle," this year's campaign will be about "product," that is the team.
"Personally, I'd prefer for the season to start tomorrow," he said. "The player acquisitions are helping us create a tremendous amount of momentum."
Later, the Nets tweeted out the logo and slogan...
Part of the branding campaign will be a new sponsor, Secure Watch 24, its first cross-platform sponsor since moving into Barclays Center. The security systems brand will appear in "Are You Ready," as well as in the arena throughout the season, which tips off next month.
