PG: Raymond Felton vs Deron Williams. This one is obvious as D-Will easily beats Felton out here. While Felton is solid and underrated D-Will is a star. Williams can pass score and is okay at defense. He can shoot off the dribble or come off screens well and is crafty around the rim. Felton is a good and creative finisher near the rim and great in pick and roll but poor on defense.
SG: Iman Shumpert vs Joe Johnson. While I like Shumpert a lot and I think he is a rising star and has a lot of potential Johnson is a proven star and is better right now. Shumpert is more athletic and a better defender but isn't that polished on offense yet. Johnson can score in the post, spot up or off the dribble and uses his strength to an advantage. His defense needs work but isn't all that bad. Shumpert is almost at Johnson's level.
SF: Carmelo Anthony vs Paul Pierce. We all know by now that Paul Pierce is great all-around player and can score in many ways and is a good passer but Melo is significantly better right now. Melo may not pass at all but he can practically score at will whether it's in the post, from 3, midrange or attacking the rim he can do it all. He is also a good offenseive rebounder. As much as I like Pierce Melo is an elite star and a level ahead of Pierce right now.
PF: Kevin Garnett vs Andre Bargnani. I shouldn't even have to debate this since we all know who is better. Bargnani isn't good all-around and is just a spot up shooter. He is okay off the dribble and doesn't really play inside. He rebounds as well as most guards and is an awful interior defender. Garnett is still solid and can pass well hit the midrange jumper and still anchors a defense.
C: Tyson Chandler vs Brook Lopez. This one is very close as both players excel at different things. Chandler is an excellent defender and rebounder while Lopez can dominate in the post and score on jump shots. Granted, Lopez is a decent defender but not great. Chandler really has no offensive game out side of the pick and roll and he still struggles to finish at rim occasionally. Chandler can guard the pick and roll very well on defense while Lopez doesn't Still, I give a very slight advantage to Lopez.
