How do Nets fans define success in the 2013-14 season?

Debby Wong-USA TODAY Sports

It's nearly impossible to put words to the kind of offseason the Brooklyn Nets had -- and, to a certain extent, are continuing to have. Adding new head coach Jason Kidd, trading for Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Jason Terry, plus signing Andrei Kirilenko and Shaun Livingston -- not to mention, re-signing Andray Blatche, and bringing back Lawrence Frank. A hefty haul for Team Prokhorov, who is set on going all-in in an attempt to "win now."

We know what defines success for owner Mikhail Prokhorov, but in terms of what a successful season would be for Nets fans, there seems to be slightly differing opinions.

Sure, there's mileage and age on this team -- namely, the former Celtics who now call Brooklyn home -- but is year one going to be defined by whether or not this team brings a championship to Brooklyn? Or, is there a transition period -- a year, possibly? -- needed for a "team like this" to find its rhythm? Can they afford to wait a year -- with Pierce and, essentially, Kirilenko up after this season and KG and Terry not getting any younger?

How would you, Nets fans, define success in the 2013-14 season?
